WebJul 11, 2024 · Well, for one thing, there are about 20 diaries in my basement, all written by my grandfather, who died when I was a kid. He was the chief probation officer in Lawrence, MA for a number of years, and every time I read anything from his diaries, I feel a bit closer to him, and also my late dad. My sense from reading your post is that you are halfway hoping to start something up with the guy by sending him your letters. DON'T DO IT. Throw them out and forget about him.
